The design work involves the construction of a single storey en-suite extension to the north
corner of the timber cottage, the driveway entrance and the main entrance to the cottage.
The alterations are as follows:
• Constructing a three-bay timber carport in front of the main entrance.
• Removing the existing car shed/ storage located on the right-hand side on entering the
site.
• Extending the corner of the building from the north by adding a new ensuite bedroom, and
secure the house by adding a gate to access it, between the new extension and the
existing shrub hedges.
• Internally, changing the dressing room space to be the corridor to the new bedroom, the
